TUXQUEST — GAME INSTRUCTIONS

🎯 Objective

Guide Tux the penguin through 10 levels. Reach the flag at the end of each level to advance. Complete all levels to win. Lose all your lives and it's Game Over.

🎮 Controls

• A / ← — Move left
• D / → — Move right
• Space / W / ↑ — Jump
• Space (mid-air) — Double jump
• Z / Left Shift — Run faster
• Hold jump longer → higher jump
• Release early → shorter hop

❤️ Lives

You start with 3 lives.

• Touching enemies
• Falling into pits
• Landing on spikes
• Touching lava

Losing a life resets you to the start of the level. Lose all lives → Game Over.

🏆 How to Win

Reach the flag at the end of level 10. A gold victory screen appears. If you run out of lives before that, you lose.

🌍 The 10 Levels

• Tutorial — Basic introduction
• Ice World — Slippery controls
• Sky Islands — Floating platforms
• Underground Caves — Spikes and tight tunnels
• Lava Run — Moving platforms only
• Sky Fortress — Enclosed dangerous rooms
• Haunted Night — High difficulty
• Speedway — Many enemies
• Extreme — Ice over lava
• Boss Fight — Defeat the Lich King

👾 Enemies

• Snowball — Can be stomped
• Spiky — Cannot be stomped
• Flying Enemy — Moves in wave pattern
• Boss — Needs 10 stomps, 3 phases

⚠️ Hazards

• Spikes — Instant death
• Lava — Instant death
• Ice tiles — Very slippery
• Moving platforms — Require timing
• Falling off screen — Instant death

💎 Collectibles

• Coin — +10 points
• Star — +100 points
• Heart — Restores 1 life

📊 Scoring

• Coin: +10 pts
• Star: +100 pts
• Enemy stomp: +50 pts
• Level clear: +200 pts + bonus

💡 Top Tips

• Save double jump for emergencies
• Tap movement on ice
• Observe moving platforms before jumping
• Explore for hidden stars
• Collect hearts whenever possible
